Privacy Policy

What this policy covers

ScanVersus is a content site: it publishes comparisons and rankings, and it does not sell anything directly or run a comment section. This policy explains the little data that visiting the site does generate.

What’s collected

  • Server logs. Like any website, the hosting server records basic request data — IP address, browser user agent, page requested, and timestamp — for security and reliability purposes. These logs are not cross-referenced with any advertising identifier.
  • Search queries. The site search box on the homepage submits your search term as part of the page URL so results can be shown; it is not stored separately or linked to your identity.
  • No account system. ScanVersus does not require registration, does not have a comment form, and does not collect names, emails or payment details through the site itself.

Cookies

The site does not set marketing or tracking cookies. WordPress, the platform ScanVersus runs on, may set a small number of technical cookies for logged-in administrators only — a regular visitor browsing the site will not receive them.

Third parties

Pages on ScanVersus link out to manufacturer sites and retailers as sources for specs and prices. Once you click through to shining3d.com, revopoint.com, creality.com, artec3d.com or a retailer’s page, that site’s own privacy policy applies — ScanVersus has no control over what those sites collect.

How to opt out

Since no tracking cookies are set, there’s nothing to individually opt out of. Standard browser privacy settings (blocking third-party cookies, using a script blocker) work the same way on ScanVersus as on any other site.
