Terms of Use

Using ScanVersus’s content

Comparisons, rankings and pricing guides on this site are free to read and to link to. Quoting a short passage with a link back to the original article is welcome. Republishing a full article, or the spec tables specifically, without permission is not.

Brand names and trademarks

Model and brand names used throughout ScanVersus — including EinStar, EinScan, Revopoint, Creality and Artec — are the trademarks of their respective owners and are used here only to identify and compare the products under review. Naming a scanner in a comparison does not mean its manufacturer sponsored, reviewed or endorsed the page, and nothing on this site implies an affiliation with any of the brands it covers.

No warranty on the information

Specs and prices change. ScanVersus dates every price it publishes and rechecks figures on a regular cycle, but a reader making a purchase decision should confirm the current price and spec sheet directly with the manufacturer or retailer before buying — this site is a comparison tool, not a store, and it does not guarantee that a quoted price is still available by the time you read it.

Limitation of liability

ScanVersus is provided “as is.” The editorial team is not liable for purchase decisions made based on an article, for discontinued models, or for price or spec changes that occur after publication. Where a factual error is identified, it will be corrected — see the editorial policy — but that correction does not create liability for decisions made before the fix.

Comparative claims

Comparisons on this site name competing products by brand and model in order to compare verifiable, checkable characteristics — price, accuracy, resolution and similar specs — which is standard practice in comparative advertising and consumer reviews. Every comparison names strengths on both sides rather than disparaging either product.
